First Week

I have been here a week and it has been crazy and I am loving it. So far I enjoy my classes. I am most excited for Biology lab and all the dissections that we get to do. Last weekend they started all the freshman off by going five hours to a camp so that we could bond. That was not really my scene, all being social and such, but I did make some friends by the end of the trip.  At the dorms we all have a good time just hanging out and playing pool. We play at least one game a day and I am becoming pro. Last Wednesday we went to the girl's soccer game. Our team lost, I found myself more interested in studying on the sidelines then watching our team get slaughtered. Better luck next time I guess. Friday night is when all the fun begins here. A group of us went to the UGF rodeo. Surprisingly enough, it was fun to watch. We ate tacos in a bag there, which were so far from tasting good. Doritos crushed up and mixed with taco ingredients is not the best dinner. After the rodeo, people went down and practiced roping fake calves. That was quite interesting to watch. Then our little group went to the movies. I am having a great time here, but I am making sure that I set time aside to get all my work done. I miss all my friends back home, but I know I will get to see them all at Christmas and am super stoked.
